Many of us learn more effectively when we have something to see and something to do. Crafts can therefore be a vital part of any session with children - not just an add-on. An ideal resource for those who don't regard themselves as experts!

Crafts should therefore be regarded as an important element of any session with children - not just an add-on. The children will remember what they see and what they experience much better than what they are told.

"This book contains craft ideas that will help children learn Bible stories and verses, and that will assist them in expressing those Bible truths in their own lives and in their relationships with others.

"I have not given age guidelines for the ideas in the book. As presented here, they should all be achievable by most 7- to 11-year-olds and many will be achievable by younger children. With help during the session or with some advance preparation, even pre-school children should be able to attempt a large number of the projects.

"The first section of the book contains ideas that enable children to interact with a story, and some of these are particularly appropriate for younger children. If you wish to provide hands-on visual aids for very young children or toddlers, you could construct these crafts totally in advance of the lesson."

Crafts to Give - ideas based on Bible themes that provide opportunities to share lessons or evangelise to friends or family.
Seasonal Crafts - Bible-based ideas for the festivals of Christmas, Valentine's Day & Easter.

Each craft has a Bible reference, or relates more generally to a group of stories.
