Event "Stop Narcotic"
The vast event "Stop Narcotic" had place in Rivne. The purpose of the event was to give clear information to youth that can help them to make the right life choices.
During two weeks before this event started about 50 volunteers from Rivne and region have conducted preventive lectures in most of the schools and universities. 3500 students have heard about the results of taking drugs and how do not get trapped into this.
About 5000 young people have gathered on the central square during the concluding meeting.
About 100 people have helped to hang out booklets, posters and stickers.
Media resources were also involved in spreading information by giving event advertisements and interviews with people, drug addicted in the past; newspapers have published articles about the event even after it was over.
Many young people got a chance to change their lives - the brochures had addresses of the rehabilitation centers and churches in the region.
